We spent one retreat weekend on an island in the Potomac River a couple of years back. It was wonderful opportunity to get away together, rest and draw close to God.

GCC participated witht the Greater DC Cares Servathon. We spent the morning clearing an old storage room for a DC Public School for a future library addition.

Whenever we can, we love to get outside and simply enjoy being together - hiking, camping, picnicing, playing sports, and more.

Troy & Shon's Wedding
GCC provided a wedding and reception for a low income family. We provided invitations, facilities, decorations, music, food, childcare, and more.

2007 Christmas
GCC celebrated Christmas by giving birthday presents to Jesus. He taught about caring for the those in need, saying, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
