Greg Merlo - Pastor
Greg has more than 10 years of experience with designing and building churches... as a structural engineer and more than 5 years as a pastor at GCC. After getting a degree in structural engineering from VA Tech, Greg realized he had skills for enginerring, but a passion for ministry. Greg went on to study at the John Leland Center for Theological Studies and was called as pastor at GCC in 2002. (Don't let the enegineering thing scare you, he still has a sense of humor.) As founding members of the church, Greg and his wife, Molly, have done their best to grow the children's ministry by having two wonderful chidren of their own, Addie and Ben.

Lindsay Rerecich - Worship Leader
Lindsay has been a part of the worship team at GCC for the past two years. She took on the actual job title and teaching responsibilities of "worship leader" in the Spring of 2007. She has a BA from Rice University and is currently working on a master's in English at Catholic University, where she specializes in medieval English literature. She lives in Arlington with her husband, Matt, who is an "officer and a gentleman" in the Navy, and two dachshunds, Woody and Buzz. She also comes from a family of church leaders; her mom, Audie, is a children's pastor and her dad, Tim, is a church elder in South Texas.

Jennifer Vanderburgh - Administrator/Treasurer
Jen has served at GCC in this role for the last two years and is currently completing a Masters in International Peace and Conflict Resolution at American University, focusing on African conflict and refugees. She feels that God has called her to serve wherever possible, but especially for ‘the least of these’ who are left with nothing after fleeing violence at home and ending up in refugee camps. Originally from Atlanta, Jen is a graduate of Georgetown University and is happily married to her husband Jason, a school teacher for DC Public Schools.

Brandi Roberts - Children's Minister
Brandice Roberts Brandice has been working full time providing childcare since graduating from Georgetown University three years ago. She previously held the Children's Minister at GCC position in 2004 and couldn't stay away! Brandice has had a passion for learning from children for as long as she can remember. Like the Merlos, she has done her best to grow the children's ministry with her daughter Autumn Rose, born in November. "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children." Matt 11:25

Katrina Mason - Children's Minister
Katrina Mason has been working with Georgetown Community Church since September 2007.  From helping her mother teach Sunday school to babysitting children of all ages to being the third "helper" parent for her three younger siblings all through primary and secondary school, she has loved working with children as far back as she can remember.  She is currently a Masters and Law Student at American University studying International Law & Security, but says the the main motivation in working to better the world is to help keep the smiling faces and bright eyes on the faces of all of God's children.
