Young adults living and working in the DC area are at the core of our community.
Paul once wrote Timothy, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." We see the same potential in young adults here in the DC area.
People come from all over the country - all over the world, in fact - to be here in our nation's capitol. For many of us, GCC has become a home away from home.
Our Community Groups are great places for people to get to know eachother and build relationships with others facing the same challenges in life. We feel one of our most important ministries is simply to help people connect with each other.
In addition to our usual programs, our young adults spend time together watching movies, playing games & sports, sharing our struggles, eating out, and more - basically, sharing life together. We also try to help eachother out wherever there is need: moving furniture, providing rides to the airport, dog-sitting, babysitting, and often just sharing and listening.
